Here we have uncovered a very lovely antique porthole that is either made of solid bronze or brass with the original glass and it has a very nice form / shape. Really thick, heavy and well made. This one stands out from others we have found. In wonderful condition with a nice patina, this old fashioned porthole has a FABULOUS look and feel. UNCLEANED, lots of patina, oxidation wear etc. Notice the heavy duty hinge with the mickey mouse ear latch. Door opens and closes / locks well. Solid and strong measuring approx 10 1/2” wide x 6 3/4” tall. Perfect for bringing a Nautical or Rustic feeling to your home, so many creative up cycling and re purposing ideas! We could imagine these incorporated into someones cottage wall overlooking the sea!
